I asked for it, summer has come...

 We went to Sanibel Island in May again, it was fantastic!  My mom flew down to visit too, which was really nice for everyone.  Weston liked having his Nana there and Rolland and I got to have a date and see a movie one night...not to mention early morning walks on the beach with my mama, which I thoroughly enjoyed.  Pretty much every morning we woke up, went to the beach for some shelling, came back and had breakfast and got Weston ready for the beach where we stayed until lunch...and then a nice long nap which brought us pretty much until dinner. We would eat, go back to the beach until sunset...so all we did was eat and "go beach" in Weston's words. 
 
We did enjoy a bike ride through the reserve one day and ate at the Island Cow...everyone was starving by then, but the coconut "muffins" (cupcake without icing) were and awesome and unexpected appetizer.  We fared at a couple other restaurants too, the Mucky Duck and Pinocchio's ice cream, but mostly we cooked at the condo and even put my mom's Pampered Chef recipes to the test once (2 thumbs up).

One of my favorite things to do at the beach (besides shelling in the early morning) is to get sunset pictures of our family.  This year we didn't get to see too many fantastic sunsets because of the clouds/fog, but the last night...it was really beautiful!
