Grant is 6 months old...

Maybe this speaks to the fact that I never get to my computer anymore with the exception of paying bills...and even that is touch & go. So before I talk about this 6 month cutie...here is the 5 month blurb I started at least a month ago:

Sometimes I think this child cant get any bigger!  This cute chunky monkey is quickly outgrowing all his brother's 9 month hand-me-downs...he's the reason my arms are in as good of shape as they are (he's heavy).  We still call him Grunty Grant, but more than grunting, he all-out screams if he is not constantly entertained or held (or so it seems).  We had friends visiting this weekend and Grant definitely rivals their 7 month old, size-wise. He refuses, however to roll over...ever...not even one accidental one.

And now for the 6 month info:

Grant weighed in at 20 pounds and was 27 inches (90th%+ for both) No surprise for this family...he has caught up to where Weston was at 9-12 months, so at least we'll be in the right season for clothes.

Those hives he started getting continued forever,  qualified as chronic urticarial (6 weeks)...so he had been getting Zyrtec for a month or so...now about that Zantac...he hated it so much, I wanted to use it during the acute hives fiasco, but after many tears and vomiting, I gave up. Luckily right at 6 weeks or so, the hives just stopped. Which is good, because he was ready to eat food and I really didn't want that to cloud the picture when trying new foods every couple days.

Finally a 6 month milestone...he's rolling over, and more than that, he scoots backward on his back (that bald spot that was growing in is now getting bigger again). Sleep through the night? ...what is that?  ...it'll never happen.  Moving on, he loves food (go figure), green beans are a favorite so far. He loves his brother. No one can get Grant laughing as well and as fast as Weston...and that is awesome.  Finally he likes to play a little on his own and we can put him in the jumper for a few minutes or the exersaucer to be able to do important things like go to the bathroom or empty the dishwasher. Raspberries are awesome, sometimes they are at 2:00am and sometimes its a sign that he's done eating (enter baby-food-covered mommy).   He loves the bath, and even though he can't really sit up unsupported in the tub, he loves to sit and splash.  Tickles are awesome...I mean, just look at this smile!
