Grant is 7 months old!

It's (past) that time again...the little turkey is getting so big! So what's new for 7 months? Well, Grant got teeth! Just the week before he turned 7 months. And while I thought for sure he must have an ear infection because we woke up wailing in the night...I did a doctor mom thing and checked his ears /dug out the wax) and they were fine...let's stick with "teething syndrome" as our diagnosis. So how is sleep usually? Oh he still wakes up once in the night at baseline...but he will usually sleep 5-6 hour first....I'm still tired regardless, because I can't go to bed at 8:30pm and get away with it.

Grant loves his jumper (from the Kostelniks), if you tell him to "jump" he totally will on command, with a big grin on his face. He started to do a hilarious crabby crawl backward. I just laugh every time I see it. I sort of think this is because he always pukes when he's on his belly...or maybe because of his lack of tummy time initially due to the same reason.  He gets where he wants to go now. He sits up well too finally.  Sleeps on his side or tummy (and surprisingly never pukes...but drools like a mad dog).

Weston loves to make Grant laugh.  He likes to  play "hide-n-seek" with brother and jump out at him...this usually elicits baby giggles unparalleled in the adult world.  I can ask Weston to entertain Grant and he will (for a few seconds anyway).  Grant is beginning to have that separation anxiety now so that you can never leave his sight without him screaming...I'm quite sure I'll never be able to go to the bathroom by myself again for this reason.

Ok, I better post this before he turns another month old...I always start a post on time and then never actually finish it.  Will I ever be able to finish a task again in a single sitting? ....probably not for 18 more years.
