Grant is 10 months old!

This sweet boy's new theme song is "baby's on the run"...or a really fast crawl at least. He is all over the place and into everything.  He loves to dance and will do it on command. Sometimes clapping is the same... if you congratulate anyone with a "yay"...he will likely clap and cheer you on (as seen here in this picture...those chubby hands).  Being able to take a decent picture of him this month was pretty much impossible. He moves too much, too fast and even after I increased my ISO and tinkered with a few other settings, I couldn't get it just right, so here are a couple of my favorite left over pics.  He obviously puts everything right in his mouth.  He eats baby foods, but likes big people food too...thankfully this child likes beans, because we eat them all the time. He loves to feed himself, use a cup.  Bath time is even more fun! I've never seen a baby so happy in the bath before...now I have two water babies!

Still no words yet, although I swear I heard a whispered "dada" the last couple days, I'm in denial until I hear it louder or hear a "mama" first. Weston is trying to teach him some sign language. If Weston signs "more" to Grant, he will follow with clapping...same thing. He's so close to cruising.  And teeth be the death of me.  He has four.  And he has been working on those upper lateral incisors for like a month and they're still not through yet...geesh. Sleep is still hit and miss...last night he slept like 8 hours, and the previous night he woke up and nursed once in 12 hours about half way in. I have to admit I like sleeping more, but it kind of makes me just want more and more sleep!

Big brother wanted in on the action too, but he didn't really want to cooperate either. Never mind the dirty chin, look at those blue eyes, at least I can get a better shot of those nowadays. Now, my next task is to back up all my photos and give my poor computer a little break...and possibly weed through the hundreds of practice photos that really aren't worth saving.
