Grant is 9 months old!

 

 

The moment we've been waiting for...the crawler!  There are a lot of moments we wait for in a new baby's life...first sleep through the night, first tooth, first foods, first words...a few of these we're waiting on still of course. No words yet.  But boy does this boy get where he wants to go nowadays! And sleep? Totally hit and miss...the other night he slept 10 hours without a peep (at least I don't think I heard him crying...the monitor volume was off), and then one night I watched him cry on the monitor before I caved at 2:30 AM and went in.

Pretty much everything goes in the mouth (including bits of dry playdough on the floor). He's had those two bottom teeth for a while, but now all 4 of the top teeth are coming in at once!  He loves food (no surprise here) and has started to clap!  It's the cutest thing...for some reason that left hand never completely opens all the way, but he turns up the cuteness if he gets cheers!

9-month check-up stats:

Weight: 23 pounds, 7oz (95th percentile)

Length: 29.5 inches (90th percentile)

Head: 18.25 inches (90th percentile)

And he's pretty happy about it!
