This morning I took a little time to practice with my 50mm lens...it's always difficult with these kids of mine. In order to get any good pictures, the stars have to align...the sun should be out (because our lack of windows in our house is a major downer), the kids have to be happy (difficult to get two at once), and somehow I have to engage them. Weston, the 4-year old, is the most difficult. He always wants to help take pictures, when I do ask him to smile I get a goofy cheesy smile or he hides from the camera all together. Obviously he wants to be behind the lens...Rolland gave him this Advantix camera the other day to have to play with since we never use film anymore...the results? He loves it! He loves that he can pus every button, he can't really mess it up. The only problem? He can't "see the pictures", but hey, he imagines that he can, so that's even better.
Pictures of baby brother to come...I'm still doing a little editing (even though I don't really have editing software, I still like to brighten pics up a bit in Windows and crop if needed). Thanks to Weston for being a sport!
