Rolling Stones...urology update

I went to the Urologist last week for a follow up from the kidney stones and infection I had just after I had Weston.  I had to have an ultrasound before my appointment and apparently my right kidney is still a little enlarged compared to the left....they aren't sure if it's from previous obstruction or just from pregnancy itself. Before I came back to work I did two 24 hour urine collections and sent samples to a lab called Litholink...they analyze the urine to see what risk factors you might have for forming stones.  My previous stones were extracted after lithotripsy and were calcium carbonate (the most common kind of kidney stones).  Really the only problems we found at this visit were that I didn't drink enough fluids because my urine volume was low and my citrate was borderline low (so I need to drink more lemonade and orange juice). The volume thing has pretty much corrected itself because I can drink plenty of fluids at work...it's when I'm home taking care of baby every waking minute that I get behind.  The good news is that my hematuria has resolved, and I'm pain free.  Hopefully I don't have to deal with this again...at least not for a long while.
