Lovey and pillow for Weston
Ribbon lovey and pillow I made for Weston
So I have been feeling kind of bad that I haven't made a single thing for Weston yet. I like to make blankets for friends' babies, and even though Weston has enough, I decided to make him a little ribbon lovey blanket with matching pillow. These are pretty quick to make, and if you already have a ribbon collection they're pretty inexpensive. I usually buy ribbon by the yard instead of spool because I want a lot of different ones, but since Hobby Lobby had spool ribbon half off, I bought like six rolls (I love ribbon). I only bought half a yard of each fabric, and I still have a bunch left over. The only thing I wish I had used is a satin in the lovey...babies love satin silky fabric. I may still pick some up and incorporate it in to a second one. All in all it took probably an hour and a half to make these. Fun times...hope Weston likes them.
