I figured I should blog about our vacation a little before I forget what all happened. To start things off we had a really good flight to LA. I did sneak Weston a little benadryl before the flight, but I'm pretty sure he wouldn't have needed it. He sort of has car seat coma on the airplane...which is good. He absolutely couldn't nurse on the plane because he was too distracted and he hated the cover-up...I couldn't be flashing everyone, so I'm glad I brought plenty of bottles. When we arrived at LAX we had to go to the car rental place which is off site...but we managed to get there all in one piece and with all our bags. It was 5:00 on a Friday night in LA, we we expected the worst with traffic, but after we got dinner we headed out. Thanks to Rolland's GPS everything went smoothly. And thanks to Duracell, I could pump in the car. I was post-call though on the day we left, so I was no co-pilot and slept much of the trip to Rolland's aunt and uncle's house.

Everyone was camping for the weekend, so in the morning we headed out to see Rolland's Grandma. Dad and Erin and Arianna were there too, so it was fun to see the babies together. Afterward we went to Lopez lake and met up with the rest of the family. The weather was perfect!! Got a little sunburn because I couldn't really tell that I was getting cooked.
